My new fav show: Empire Girls




I sat in my living room the other day watching tv and minding my own business when my older sister comes rushing in demanding that I change the channel became Empire Girls was on. I looked at her like she was crazy because I had not clue what she was referring to. But being a good little sister I changed the channel. And let me tell you ladies I feel in love with this show.



First there is Adrienne Bailon. You might also know her a one of the singers from 3LW or one of acts in Disney Channels “The Cheetah Girls”. Adrienne has been on the media scene since the 2000’s. According to Style.com, Adrienne is She is currently working on a solo album for L.A. Reid's Def Jam label. As an actress, Bailon starred in the MTV feature film All You've Got, where she met Bermudez, and Coach Carter, opposite Samuel L. Jackson. She recently completed filming I'm in Love With a Church Girl with Stephen Baldwin and Ja Rule. Additional television credits include guest-starring roles on Disney Channel's That's So Raven and the movie Buffalo Dreams. Along with her career achievements, she is well known from the E! reality seriesKeeping up With the Kardashians as Rob Kardashian's former girlfriend. Born in Manhattan, Bailon splits her time between Los Angeles and New York. She celebrates her birthday on October 24".




Then there is Julissa Bermudez. I know almost nothing about her besides the fact that she was a host on B.E.T.’s 106 and Park.  According to Style.com she is an "Actress, host and television personality”. She has "hosted numerous shows, including Jersey Shore: After Hours, a series of Jersey Shore reunion specials, The Hills Finale Special and The Center. In addition, she has appeared on MTV's Total Request LiveAccess Hollywood and the TV Guide Channel, among others. Bermudez's feature-film credits include All You've Got(where she met best friend Bailon), The Startup and Make It Happen. On television, she guest-starred on Royal Pains and Rescue Me, among other series. She landed her first big break in high school when she booked a national commercial for Coca-Cola. Bermudez also was a top finalist in the competition to represent Jennifer Lopez's Sweetface fashion line. Bermudez was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Queens, N.Y., where she still resides. She celebrates her birthday on September 28.


New episodes come on every sunday on the Style Network at 7 and 9 o’clock. You ladies should definitely check it out. You will not be disappointed.
