Yard Sale

So today’s goal was to go to 3 flee markets and one thrift store and a couple of other places.  The first one we went to was hosted by my church. Every year they give out funds for college students and they do a lot of different things to raise the money. At the church flee market I found a lot of good things. I found 5 blue place mats, these 3 gorgeous vases and 2 lemonade pitchers. I think thats it, hopefully I am not forgetting anything. We stayed there from 11:30 to 3. Aside from the flee market I helped make signs and fraternized with everyone.

After leaving the flee market I went to JoAnn fabrics to return some fabric. I bought some material to make 3 different colors of a body con skirt. The colors are red, yellow and creme.  The first skirt I made was the creme one and it took me entirely too long to make it. I am talking maybe 3 weeks and thats because I was so busy that I couldn’t just sit down and knock it out so I decided that it needed to be taking back so it wouldnt just sit in my living room for days and days and days.

After leaving there I headed to CVS because they were having a buy 1 get on 50% off sale and I had been wanting to try some creme eyeliner or some people call it gel liner. It usually comes in a little container like carmex or lip med ex would and some come with angle brushes and others with brushes like liquid eyeliner.

The purpose of this purchase was because I going for a different look today. The winged eyeliner. I use Kat Von D’s liquid eyeliner from Sephora since 2005 or 2006. All the videos I watched on youtube used  gel liners so i thought maybe thats why my wing wasnt turning out like everyone elses lol.

After that it was HOME!
